Interesting...
Smaller gigs this time round. Makes sense. The arena gig I went to, he didn't come close to filling it, and the atmosphere was absolute null (and @wadfalkirk reported the same, where he saw him).
Think me and my old feller'll try for Blackburn...

Wonder what his setlist'll be like, with no new album to promote... Maybe he'll try out some new songs?...

Think me and my old feller'll try for Blackburn... I've seen Weller for 9 times and 7 of 9 at smaller venues - Paradiso (his favourite venue), Melkweg and Tivoli. Those 3 venues have capacity of 1500. I've seen him twice at bigger venues - Ahoy when he played for North Sea Jazz Festival in 2006 and at Heineken Music Hall in 2012. Only once with barrier (North Sea Jazz), but other 8 times he was playing just at front of me where I could touch his feet if I wanted. It's an advantage of gigs over here and that's why we get so many British people at gigs in Amsterdam. The last time when I saw him, he played for 2 hours without releasing a new album and it was my best Weller gig. He changes his set list at every gig. This man never bores me. Good luck with getting your ticket!

Anyone used this website before: www.gigantic.com/? Just picked up 2 standing tickets, a day before they even go on sale, and without the need for a presale code. Wondering if legit...

I've never seen Weller before but I've wanted to for so long. I hope he will make it to Canada sometime soon.
