Don't know if you guys have seen this before... Someone on a French Oasis forum has found this video that may be Noel's very first appearance on TV (granted, almost blink & you miss him), back in the days when he was a roadie for the Inspiral Carpets. This comes from a report on a small pub in a godforsaken place (population: 600) in the East of France run by an old lady who is a rock fan & organizes gigs, blablabla; for some reason many bands have played there - the article mentions Sepultura & Alex Chilton - including the Inspiral Carpets on December 5, 1992: www.setlist.fm/setlist/inspiral-carpets/1992/chez-paulette-pagney-derriere-barine-france-bf5b94e.htmlYou can see Noel with the band in the video, first at 7:18, then a bit longer (eating his sandwich, etc.): noisey.vice.com/fr/article/le-jour-ou-noel-gallagher-a-fait-sa-premiere-apparition-a-la-television-francaise?utm_source=vicefrfbThis will be of interest for the most dedicated fans only since Noel doesn't speak a word, we only see him with the Inspiral Carpets, but I was quite surprised as I thought that by December 1992 he was no longer a roadie. I guess he quit right after, since the Inspiral Carpets' European tour ended on December 19, & they started an American tour in February 1993 at which point Noel must have stayed in Manchester to fully commit himself to Oasis.

The sad thing is I found some Suede gig from the Boardwalk in 92 on YT a few weeks ago and watched most of it looking if there might be one of Oasis guys somewhere for a half second

I watched the whole of "Lord don't slow me down" for no better reason than Kasabian being in there and in a way that was one of the first steps to become besotted by Oasis, as there I found out that the Gallaghers are quite funny. The rest is history!

Early Oasis was on the cusp on everything being recorded/archived, so this is gold!
