Id say so, Liams recording and writing atm and Noels confirmed hes back in the studio so Id say its quite likely.

I still feel Liam's album is way far off, and the earliest would be a extremely late 2017 release. Noel's album seems like a go, but didn't it take four years to bring out Chasing Yesterday, having scrapped one project between those years?

I'd say neither will be due this year.
It can take six months to pencil in release dates and promotional events - no record company would even start doing that with an album from one of the Gallaghers until they have the actual final master tapes delivered. If Noel or Liam told you their new album will definitely finished and ready in six months would you believe them?
Noel says his album is half finished - I doubt even one track is completely finished. I doubt Liam's has even started.
Might get a single from Noel before Christmas 2017 if we're lucky.

If Noel was going to release his album in october 2017, his management would've announced it and released the first single already.

I'm seriously hoping for just one. Otherwise I see a very possible parallel to 2011 - a good or very good HFB album, and Liam just trying to get something out there as fast as possible, resulting in pure mediocrity. I want Liam to write 20 songs, go into the studio with options and figure it out from there.
Noel, meanwhile, should definitely finish his third record in 2017, just a question of whether we get to hear it in fall or in spring 2018. He finished HFB in July 2011, CY in July 2014, July 2017 seems very realistic which could be enough for an October release.

2018 - Holiday and listening to the new songs on the beach on headphones
2019 - Back to the studio and relax, drinking tea, smoking cigs, watching football, finish the album
2020 - Holiday, move house
2021 - Announcement and getting bored cause some Oasis re issues are coming out so it has to wait a year, eat tofu

I think there's a 99% chance we'll get both, and a 1% chance we'll just get Noel's. None of the other options are even remotely likely IMO

Mat Whitecross mentioned Noel was "about to release a new album" (not the exact quote) and David Holmes talked about getting back in the studio in September and hopefully finishing Noel's record (or something similar). They have been working on the album since 2014. Next year is a symbolic one for Noel since he's turning 50.
I would say it's more than likely we'll see Noel's album next year.
As for Liam's, it depends on how quickly he can manage to record it. It looks like the songs are written and demoed and he was going for a somewhat basic sound (judging from his comments), so it might be released in the autumn. I'm voting YES.
