never like seeing the words "a source", usually a method of making something sound more factual when the person has no real official standing of the news, so in other words radio X hasnt been passed information from the management to pass on to its listeners so hardly an announcement at all but rather a rumour spreader, an announcement would be factual information supplied from Liam or his management, not a mystery source.
this is either a backup to bastards story or someone has stolen this "information" and supplied it to radio X, either way this is pretty funny.

What youve said only furthers my point that Liam can do better alone. Im not denying that to make the album more solid for want of a better word, weller etc could have contributed. But Liam is capable with the right direction to craft two or three great songs and a hit. So what if there is some duds, theyll be his duds and its his name in lights. The jury is still out for me as to whether or not Liam can write a complete album alone, and that will be resolved only if this record or future ones are his alone in composition. It depends what you mean by "the right direction", as with Oasis there were songs supposed to have been written by Liam on his own such as 'Songbird' but were actually more blurred than that- For what it's worth as I have said before I personally don't care whether Liam writes all, some or none of the songs on the record as long as it's him performing and singing a new batch of songs, which will probably be augmented with classic era Oasis songs live- For me he was always the focal point of a band and singer before anything else. Aside from that and completely off topic Ranieri- show some loyalty to a title winning manager or is it too far gone for him to rescue and get someone else in before the unthinkable becomes a reality? |

Now I'm not doubting bastards credibility at all but I'd love just a wink of an eye from him right now, I reckon he's been told to keep quiet but just a little something from him would at least keep us intrigued as I'm sure most have lost faith a bit 😎

Might not be true but it would be a hell of step up to go straight into arenas, could end badly if they don't sell out. Even Noel began in theatres and worked his way up. Would not want Liam falling at the first hurdle :/ "Sources" is anything from a direct link e.g. management to a read on a random website such as this, and in the case of the former you usually name the trusted source to give credence to the story. In this case I am putting it firmly into the latter for the present and dismissing it as a story, and will continue to wait for official news. FWIW the arena tales seem like a made up piece anyway, given that BE from what I remember mostly played theatres under their own steam and it's been a fair while since Liam last played arenas with Oasis. I think he'll be similar to Noel in regards to live dates, starting with theatre dates in the low thousands capacities that he is pretty much nailed on to sell out with his fan base and possibly curious music goers, and if all goes well with demand progress to bigger venues from there. |
