To be fair, I'm just here sitting and waiting for the Gallaghers albums 'cause the bands I like the most are either extinct by now or I'd rather not buy their new stuff because it became shite now.

that's pretty much where i'm at now. i mostly listen to the same stuff from the 60's/70's/80's/90's over and over and over. i am finding it increasingly difficult to get into the newer stuff. but every once in a while i'll hear a new song i like (for example--- dawes 'as if by design').

when i was younger i saw this same.... 'phenomenon'... happen to my older cousins and uncles, who, like myself, were always huge music fans. i swore that no matter how old i got, i would always be into the new stuff no matter what. i was wrong.

with that said, i am very much looking forward to the new one from the national, of course.
