Royal Blood are surely due a new album next year??
It's weird how lazy bands are nowadays! I mentioned the above to someone at work and there response was 'the last one only came out recently'
I think you'll find it came out in 2014 and next year is 2017!! In that time Oasis had done Definitely Maybe, Morning Glory, Be Here Now and The Masterplan!!

Well, Royal Blood is kind of a gimickey band that has an expiration date if they released quick álbum after quick álbum. Unless they work with other instruments for álbum #2 that's it.

I thought it came out somewhere last year, in 2015 (which doesn't make sense as I saw them in July 2014 and they did songs off AM which had just come out).

In that time Oasis had done Definitely Maybe, Morning Glory, Be Here Now and The Masterplan!! Considering that most bands don't even release b-sides ever anymore, it really is weird. I get that new bands don't want to rush the second record, that makes sense, but the amount of songs (good songs, too!) that bands put out with b-sides was enormous. Same goes for Circa Waves - first single in 2013, album delayed until March 2015 which means the material will be between two and four years old next spring.

New xx song. Album out January 13. Dont like the sample in the song, it just breaks the vibe going on like a rapper would do in a pop Song.

My revised list:
- Noel Gallagher - Liam Gallagher - Arcade Fire - The National - Temples - The xx - Flaming Lips - LCD Soundsystem - Roger Waters
Pretty crazy how I just don't give a fuck about Kasabian or U2 at this point.

Ryan Adams had an album set for a Nov. 4th release but it got pushed back without a new date. Really looking forward to it as his latest studio album was great.

A fan recently joked that he should cover Be Here Now and I think that would be an amazing idea. I'd love to hear his acoustic take on it all. Just make it a download only from his site or some shit. It'll never happen but great idea.

He's recently stopped spewing out everything he writes and is being a bit more disciplined with his releases these days! I agree that his last one was excellent, as was Ashes & Fire before that which is probably my second favourite album of his. Should be excellent.

Just realised that Mike Oldfield is releasing the sequel to his third album Ommadawn next year, entitled Return To Ommadawn. The true innovator he is, this should be a really interesting multi layered instrumental album. Because of his diversity with genres, he's hit and miss - only a big miss though when he writes conventional rock albums. This will be his first experimental album since 2008 and Ommadawn is one of his best. Anyone a fan?

Liam Noel Gorillaz Massive Attack Temples Adding Fleet Foxes to this list. Anyone know what Kevin Parker is up to? Currents came out in 2015. Heard he's been working on new material, but isn't sure yet whether it's for Tame Impala or someone else?

Fleet Foxes The first album was ace, the second good, looking forward the new one. I feel like an eternity has passed between Fleet Fox records. Crazy to think that the nameless drummer from those early albums is now a popular, indie cred solo artist in his own right.......Father John Misty.

Amy Macdonald has announced her new album 'Under Stars' which will be out in February.
Here's the acoustic version of the first single. Quite mellow but nice.
