I always though To Be Where There's Life is/could have been Dig Out Your Soul's Be Here Now. Been saying since the first day DOYS was released.
And don't get me wrong, I like TBWTL, but it needs the guitars! Now, after hearing the BHN Mustique Track - that's how TBWTL should have been!
Fuck, there's a strong case that a direct replacement would be amazing - the Be Here Now Mustique Track would fit so well in place of TBWTL. It grooves, it's a bit dark, the sound is vibrant, the guitar riff that runs through the entire song is ace.
Gah, this is exactly how To Be Where There's Life should have been! Missed opportunity!

I have no idea what you are talking about. Trip Inside would not fit on DOYS no matter how much you want it to. And the monster groove on To Be Where There's Life is already a highlight of the album, so why change it?

I fucking hate the album version of TBWTL. Such a missed opportunity that it wasn't the same as the live version.
