ELO should get inducted for sure. Journey is eh... J. Giles band is a one-hit-wonder band.
I'm not sure if Tupac is a Rock N Roller

And no Smiths. What a joke. To all the Smiths fans... you need to come to terms with the idea that the Smiths are not all that influential to the world of music as a whole. You love them, I love them, and that is all good, but stop acting like they are the Beatles or Stones. ------- The OP... Tupac, Pearl Jam, Journey, and Depeche Mode are the most likely inductees.

I'll give credit to Rock'n'Roll Hall of Fame the day when Bonehead will get in it.
He's already in the rythm guitarists' dream team, anyway.

janet jackson is abit of a surprise, wouldnt of said she was ever that big of a deal. -140 million records sold - 7th most successful billboard artist of all time - 7 #1 albums on the BIllboard 200 - 10 #1 billboard number ones - 27 top 10s She was arguably bigger than her brother in the 90s in the US. She was massive, people forget that because of the SuperBowl fiasco. She's also influenced countless other performers, male and female.

Here's a shout out to Kraftwerk, their influence is all over rock, can't understand why they aren't in already.

Ugh please don't remind me of that terrible time, it was futile to try to avoid any news coverage on that shit. Why was the media so obsessed with this? Have they never seen a woman's nipple in their lives?

A lot of people in the US would probably say the same about Oasis. Location plays a role in that. Although Janet does has 17 top 10 hits in the UK regardless, and plenty of platinum albums.

Imagine Weezer getting there before the cars 😏 Weezer come up for eligibility in the same year as Oasis (2019), along with Daft Punk and Notorious B.I.G.

Don't really see Oasis getting into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame anytime soon or ever, for that matter.....it is a popularity contest and an American award, or its relevance is pertinent to America, and Oasis were popular in America for about three months 20 years ago.....Oasis really only have any real meaning and significance on this forum and the U.K. at this point.
Thanks.

The Smiths were not mainstream. If Rock N Roll hall of fame was about the music, not the influence, they should get inducted for sure.
