I was actually going to create an account on another email, but somehow it was already being used and I have no clue how, buuut anyway:
Hello anyone who's reading this; I decided to create an account in this forum because I was already hanging on it everyday to see some posts and I truly enjoyed how everyone here acts on "friendly" threads. I've got to say that yeah, I saw some posts that weren't exactly happy at all, but they don't matter :Y
I don't have a lot to say about myself except that I am not fluent in English (I learned the language by myself without the aid of anyone), but I can say how did I "meet" Oasis and some random stuff I like...?
Anyway, it's really recent as a "know the thing" itself. I did hear one song or another that were from them but I had no clue who they were (you see, my parents don't know Oasis nor my brother), but I discovered them around 2012 when I was at my uncle's house. My cousin, me and my brother were slacking off in the living room and she decided to put something to play on as we all were in an awkward silence -- And that's when she decided to put her personal playlist of musical videos to play on. I don't remember the first song as I was not interested on it and it was from some random band, but the second one was "Stop Crying Your Heart Out" (yeah, not the best start in Oasis I know) and I just felt amazed by it. That includes watching the entire thing like a toddler watching a toy they want to have to put it simply. Anyway, the third song of the playlist was also an Oasis one, "Champagne Supernova".
About stuff that I like... well, I enjoy drawing since I was 1 year old; sure, what I did back then was not exactly what you'd call a drawing, but there are family friends who still have some of the "paintings" I did at that age as I gave them away. I tried to play keyboard since I was 3, but I just slacked off mostly and enjoyed the sounds it made. I learned to play some simple songs at it by listening and discovering the notes, but heh, nothing really big; I still don't know how to "read" music sheets as I hate music theory (not exactly "hate" itself, but I just can't learn it the way I should; if you use numbers, I learn way faster), but if I enjoy an instrument (mayonnaise not included) I can learn how to play it. Still, I just can't get myself to learn how to "read" music sheets. I kind of have my own musical sheets to make up for it.
I also enjoy writing. When I was 6 and my teacher made the class write original fairy tales, she often kept the ones I created because she found them creative, but looking back at it, I don't think they were worth keeping. Ah, well, I never truly enjoyed what I wrote anyway; I tried songwriting since that age as well (DON'T ASK ME WHY BECAUSE I ALSO DON'T KNOW) but just kept throwing things away because I found them stupid. Funny enough I still remember the chorus of one of the songs I wrote back then and a simple one I wrote entirely, but probably because I tried to create a rhythm to how you should sing them.
Guess I talked too much here. Anyway, I feel like I'm showing myself here, so I'm really sorry if I come by sounding arrogant; while I'm writing this, I'm reading/writing this with my normal voice (which quite honestly is quite annoying), but considering that I often had verbal fights around the internet because people saw what I wrote as insults (even shitty puns and jokes), my "online approach" history ain't very great.
So, pleased to meet whoever you are. I actually have some stuff I'm curious about, as if I can "approach" some threads normally. I often think about things I could say on them but I feel awkward about them considering that I'm a newbie and all that jazz.
