Looking at that pic on page one, side view of Maine Road, reminds me how fortunate, and propper lucky i was to get in that feont pen on tbe first night. All happened by chance! Still my best Oasis gig, Knebworth was a great day and experience, but too far away.
Been at the very front on a few gigs, but that Maine Road pic (as a City fan) gets the juices going!
Still got the wrist band, and got my fingers to Liam's tambourine (though seeing the fist fight - probably best i didn't get a full catch at a tender 17 years of age)

I know Liam is pulling a face here, but in some of the 1997 pics, here looks far younger than he did at say, Knebworth, IMO. Then he looks slightly older at say G-Mex, lol. Of course he was still a young chap tho. |
