@rfb 's avatar is really nice. Is there any chance you can find a high quality version biblical ? Hope so, will obviously share when I'll find it. Some other pics of the Glastonbury '95 gig ^ Liam with The Lemonheads' Evan Dando, who became good friends with the band

To celebrate the release of the BHN reissue I've scanned a few of my favorite pics from that era from the fantastic book by Jill Furmanovsky (Was There Then, released in 1997). Enjoy!

From the file's properties: "Pop band", ugh... "Pop" from "Popular" music, with the two often very interchangeable in the English language, so in that respect with three multi platinum albums to their name at that point The truckers strike was actually very fortuitous in some respects as it gave the band a 'get out of jail free' card as it directly led to the cancellation of the Princess Diana tribute gig, which Noel in particular was (understandably in my view) not keen on performing.

Oh sure, I know where it came from. It doesn't have to be something negative per se. I mean, good music from all genres can become very popular just like you said. It does have a negative connotation because of the easy-selling pre-fabricated rubbish filling the charts. It's more the association which bugs me, and would rather choose the word "Rock band" than "Pop band"...
