He lost the plot early on. The other two are well and fine. I was in no way making a complete list of artist I like.

Shame because Innerspeakers is one of the best albums of the decade. To me losing the plot is what MGMT did with Congratulations or Coldplay with Mylo or Kings of Leon with Only By Night. A song like "Let It Happen" is totally bonkers and outrageous. It literally broke my old laptop.

Coldplay lost the plot way earlier, imo I'm talkibg about B&S after Dear Catastrophe Waitress level of losing the plot. Seriously, I can't stand "Currents". Maybe I was waiting too much from Parker.

I can't stand Currents too. But also, Lennon is right about Let It Happen. But that is just one song.

There are quite a few songs on Currents that I really like (Let It Happen, The Less I Know The Better, The Moment, Cause I'm A Man, Eventually) but I don't really listen to the rest of it.
Anyway, it's nearly impossible for me to make a top 10 of my favourite artists/bands. After #4 it gets tough.

Oasis would naturally come in my top five but I can't really rank my favourites to ten as I am torn between too many acts, so I'll tighten the category to those who have a vast magnitude of brilliant work, which still counts for those acts with a cut off point (e.g. U2 from 2004's Atomic Bomb onwards).
In terms of those artists with a vast body of great great work, and not merely just a couple of great albums, these are my 'Magnificent Seven':
1. The Smiths (okay, only four albums but counting the fact there was not close to a bad song plus a huge number of b-sides and Peel Sessions, they make the grade) 2. Bruce Springsteen 3. U2 4. The Beatles 5. R.E.M (would have been a cut off point if it were not for their unbelievably fantastic final album) 6. Sigur Ros 7. Radiohead
