I have to admit I I find it a little disappointing that Noel isn't willing to take some time to attend the premiere. I mean it would only take him a few hours, he doesn't even have to travel since he lives in London and even if he's working on a new album, it's not like he's recording 24 hours a day! It's only one evening for fuck's sake, he should go for the fans! That's it. It's hardly any effort for him, and it's the least he could do given he's going benefit significantly from it. Amusing to see all the excuses being made for him. He probably just doesn't want to be around Liam. It's probably nothing more than that. What's the big deal? |

Honestly, he doesn't owe anything. It's not like anyone here crowd sourced the funding for this to be made. He wrote some songs in the 90s, people chose to buy them, now there's a documentary about that. The transaction ended long ago. |

I honestly don't get the argument that he "owes" something, therefore he should go?
Did anyone buy him a coffee in the 90s at Starbucks and he didn't get you your mocha in return?
Plain fact of the matter is those guys don't owe any of us anything. The second you pop that record on and it makes you feel good, the owing ends. The second that film is finished and you're left entertained, the owing ends.

What excuses? He doesn't really need an excuse to be absent. If he doesn't want to go, he can stay away. He was in it and he's seen it already.
Why would he go? For the fans? Yeah right, because all of you are going to London or Manchester and stand behind the barricades at the red carpet.
It has nothing to do with fans. It's about publicity.
Do I get mad if I'm seeing a film with Angelina Jolie and I find out she wasn't at the premiere? No, because it doesn't change a thing about the film and it doesn't affect me.
Seriously, the amount of ridiculousness on this forum keeps increasing and keeps surprising me more and more each day.

He doesn't really need an excuse but if you worked on something (which he did) is it not strange to be there when it will be shown to the the public at the premiere. So it isn't weird that people want a reason or excuse. I don't care if he is there or not, but if it's because Liam is there I think it's just sad.
