I can't believe all you "Team Liam" people are actually getting upset about this. What amount of nothing is going on in your lives for you to actually get angry about this? Noel didn't make the movie, he's in the movie. It's childish to get all worked up over what a grown man decides to do or not do.  |

Yeah and that "opinion" is laughably dramatic. "All respect lost"? How little respect would one have to have of him in the first place for such a meaningless thing to cause such a reaction? I agree that it's a very over the top comment but I can see why people feel it's a bit silly of Noel. This documentary is a celebration of Oasis pretty much, it's a shame he can't put his spat with Liam to one side and attend, it just comes off looking a bit bad in my opinion. It could be a weakness of character. But it also could be, that the cause for the split, was something totally unexcaptable that Liam is responsible for, not just standard a-hole behaviour. He could be right to avoid him aswell. We all live in a forum bubble and there are things we don't know about why they keep out of each others way. |

Not a big deal anyway.
I first bought ticket for 9th October, but I also bought ticket to see the premiere with Q&A yesterday after hearing Liam will be there. They both have walked on a red carpet more than once in their entire life.

Can you really blame Noel for not going? Liam would probably start shit if they both went. I'm sure. Just like at the Man City game or the Olympics party. Its pretty unlikely. I have no doubt Noel would rather dodge Liam but I doubt its because he thinks they would be rolling around on the red carpet in front of the paps. |

I've read various articles mentioning that it was Noel's management that approached the production company about the documentary - not the other way around. So clearly Noel is the one that wanted the documentary in the first place (one article had the producers turning it down at first until they came up with the focus on the first three years). So clearly he wanted it to happen, participated in the interviews, and has mentioned it in recent interviews. Face it, this type of publicity helps his own career too. Thanks for that bit of positivity. I don't understand all the fuss about Noel not attending the premiere. Who cares ? Sure, anyone can express his opinion about it, but frankly, it doesn't help things along. And that Liam's tweet like "look that old fucker who doesn't even come to the premiere in Manchester. He's not a manc anymore, he doesn't respect the fans", shit... I'm looking forward for that premiere with the helicopter (Liam bringing back the BHN spirit) and the Berlin's one with Bonehead. Will be fun. |

I have to admit I I find it a little disappointing that Noel isn't willing to take some time to attend the premiere. I mean it would only take him a few hours, he doesn't even have to travel since he lives in London and even if he's working on a new album, it's not like he's recording 24 hours a day! It's only one evening for fuck's sake, he should go for the fans!
