Noel was a guest on his MTV talk show in 2005ish. Lots of talk about indie bands and Noel saying Brand dressed Dickensian. Have a watch on youtube, not sure if its still on there.

I can only remember Noel and Russell brand first doing things together in 2006. Noel started appearing on the BBC radio show and in Autumn brand introduced Noel on stage for the first of the stop the clocks acoustic gigs he did at Koko London 2nd November

no that was the electric proms gig at the roundhouse in 2008 where Noel also called out Daniel Craig, the itunes gig was the year after I believe.

Ol' Russ is a mediocre/good-at-best standup and host, but put him in a room with Matt Morgan (What an absolute GEEZER by the way - one of the most naturally funny people I've heard) or Noely Noely, then the chemistry is fucking hilarious and his undeniable charisma is at its most natural and least grating. I particularly like how Russ called Noel out on his whole "I don't know no long poncy words an' that, innit?" routine.
