Not for nothing but I found time in all this Be Here Now reissue madness to listen to the new Kings of Leon album WALLS. It's surprisingly solid. I've dumped on these guys a ton over the last 5-6 years for completely selling out and losing their initial identity. The record sounds really really good. I guess that is to be expected when one of my favorite producers (Markus Dravs) is behind the controls.
My highlights: Find Me, Around The World and Reverend.

Eyes On You sounds like classic KoL, something ripped straight from Youth and Young Manhood or Aha Shake Heartbreak

Seeing these guys live on Jan 12, 2017 in my home state of Maryland in a brand new, 3,000 seat theater! Such an intimate venue for a big band to play in I'm super pumped

Great band and a great album. Yeah, OK, they sold out. Whatever. We all need to get over it. This and their last album, Mechanical Bull, are a far more natural sound from the lads. The first tracks (up until 'Over') are fantastic and a real throwback to their earlier sound. Very fond of this album

New Kings material dropping Friday. Could be an entire album. Theyโve been sitting on it since last March.

I've never been a fan of this band except for Mollys Chambers which is a good song but that's about it.
