I don't know. I wouldn't have thought to link both together if I haven't seen that poll. They're obviously different songs, two different bands, with a different songwriter, etc.

However, I think two tracks can be compared in quality, no matter if they're really different (as long as it's not too out of place) or not. The comparisons always bring some interesting debates on the different qualities of the songs, their flaws, the quality of the songwriting, the emotions they give, etc.

Not every track aims for the same goal, but it's interesting to see opinions about which one is closer to reach it.

Wonderwall is a belter of a song, but Eleanor Rigby was groundbreaking...
