Great read as always, Elias. Well done. This review of yours should be included in the liner note for upcoming BHN remaster!

"A capsule packed with cherished moments that are all your own, and need no-one else’s justification" -- A concise summation of what Be Here Now means to me as well. Cheers!

This is a million times better than anything ever written by those pretentious, know-it-all, arrogant and clichéd hipsters at Pitchfork. God, they're so full of shit.
Thanks for sharing, it was a superb and extremely entertaining read!

Great article, and sums up why Be Here Now is my all time favourite album. The best there was, the best there is, and the best there ever will be... I second this. It is my favorite Oasis album. It has the melodies and madness that are the recipe for greatness. I love the length of all the songs and for me it's simply an epic masterpiece. Noel was at his finest on guitar during the Be Here Now tour as well, which is why I wish they would officially release a concert from that tour [probably G-MEX]. The way they stretched out Champagne Supernova, All Around the World, Fade in/out, etc... was pure rock and roll bliss for me. That era is when I became a lifelong fan and inspired me to learn guitar and start writing my own music. If I could change anything it would be slight changes to the mix [turn the bass up, separate the tracks a bit so they breathe a littler better]. But none of that changes how I feel about it. The best there was, the best there is, and the best there ever will be . . .
