*coughs* Don't Believe The Truth *coughs* Don't Believe The Truth is far superior to Heathen Chemistry. Heathen Chemistry is almost completely meritless. I'll prefer HC any day over DBTT. But that's my opinion.

HC had the stronger songs (Hindu Times, Stop Crying, Songbird, Little By Little) but DBTT is slightly better overall. Both are a far cry from the golden years of Oasis.

Let's be honest, both are almost completely meritless apart from 3 songs or something.

DBTT is more even across all the tracks, but that doesn't really mean it's superior. To me, Oasis left the "good album" boat after Be Here Now. Post-2000 was all about a couple of good tunes per cut, which ironically, is what the music business is all about these days.

Yeah, can listen to almost everything until after Be Here Now, then it's just cherrypicking tracks. DOYS is the most consistent album IMO.

No doubt about that.

IMO, his two albums are very good, but Noel is yet to release his masterpiece, it can be on his next album or maybe his 8th album, we don't know.

If he was still a drug user then sure! But sadly no, he wont.

I thought all of Chasing Yesterday was good (Even In the Heat of the Moment) and most if not all of NGHFB was good (I haven't really listened to the debut album as much though)
It would be really nice if he did go towards the direction of his more experimental tracks - Riverman especially.
On a sidenote, contrast this towards Beady Eye - I didn't enjoy any of their stuff that much...The Roller was okay but otherwise IMO Liam's voice was too worn out.

It will be interesting if Noel rethinks the Oasis discography. I would pay good money for that.

Chasing Yesterday definitely showed signs of a new direction. Hopefully he continues in that direction rather than going back to his first album sound which was too soft and sugar-coated for my liking. Both cracking albums so far though really, the quality of songwriting is pretty high.

He already has. Twice. It's called his acid house tunes and the AA album.

The same shit over and over. "I wish Noel would blow flames out his ass on the next album"
IF you don't like it, don't buy it. Plenty of people will. Noel won't be "in trouble". His career will be fine.
He finances it himself, you know. Is he going to fire himself?
