I've heard 2 Pink Floyd albums, never got into them. That's not to say the music was bad but I just didn't feel engaged in it at all. Take it or leave it.
I've never heard all of Appetite for Destruction, which is a classic for sure.

Don't waste your time with The Wall and Dark Side Of The Moon. Piper At The Gates Of A Dawn is the album you have to listen to

Too many. I usually prefer those "Best of" albums if I don't know the artist properly.

If I've never listened to it then by default its not a classic album So that rules out Radiohead for a start.

Anything Springsteen. I've tried a handful of times, but after 4 or 5 tracks I'm annoyed and quit.

Anything by Radiohead. Anything by Led Zeppelin. Most Rolling Stones albums (I only own Out Of Our Heads, Exile and a greatest hits, and can't be bothered listening to the rest). BE - Beady Eye And probably many others. The OP is about classic albums. So...

I've never listened to any Who albums. Bought Quadrophenia last year but I've never been arsed enough to sit all the way through it.

You don't like The Stones ? I like them but not to the point of buying/listening to anything more than a greatest hits. If you care, try "Sticky Fingers". It's a top 10 off all the time for me

Thriller by MJ. I still don't see any value in his music, for me that is just another MTV crap.

I never listen to Grateful Dead, Allman Brothers and Phish. Seems like a trend.

Thriller by MJ. I still don't see any value in his music, for me that is just another MTV crap. Thriller is perhaps MJ's only worthwhile album, I like all of its songs except "PYT" and "Baby Be Mine". Thereafter he only released overproduced albums with lots of crap tunes and only a few memorable ones (Dangerous and Invincible being the worst cases) and most of his prior work from his teens is uninteresting (except Off the Wall, which is also mostly throwaway tracks). I used to be into his music but now I find it overrated.
He was a really good entertainer though, he had some nice singing and dancing skills.

I never listen to Grateful Dead, Allman Brothers and Phish. Seems like a trend. Me neither. Tried Grateful Dead once, but didn't like the song I tried and gave up. Seems like THE band to like for hipsters though, saw shitloads of GD shirts at Urban Outfitters the other day, and at a lot of fashion blogs.

Self-explanatory. The Wall - Pink Floyd Dark Side of the Moon - Pink Floyd I have an original press The Wall... (which I bought) so yeah. I like the album. Mainly stones albums... more into The Beatles, Who, Kinks etc. I have the GRRR! compilation thingamajig though so it's not as if I haven't heard the songs. I have OK Computer but only been able to sit through it once. Never listened to The Bends fully. Not sure what else. Depends what you class as "classic" albums.

I've never listened to any Who albums. Bought Quadrophenia last year but I've never been arsed enough to sit all the way through it. If you're not too familiar with The Who, I wouldn't bother with Quadrophenia right away. Meaty, Beaty,Big and Bouncy is a terrific compilation of their 60s output with all the classic singles. Also, with The Who, they really are a band best enjoyed live - for instance The Kids Are Alright OST or The Who Live at Leeds. Albums introduce you to the songs but they really don't come alive the same way at all.
