I'd pay normal price, coz it's his money and his record label. Let's be honest, records aren't as expensive as they used to be. They were really too expensive late 90s : early 2000s.
He's got employees and all, it's not like it's money getting into some vaginas in a big record label full of douchebags, although there's probably some.

If you live outside of the UK, then the money is definitely going to "some vaginas in a big record label full of douchebags" due to the necessity for distribution deals with big name labels.

I do live outside the UK, but most of the time, i buy records on the artists' website directly, and not on amazon or whatever. Most of the time they get 100% of the price.

Depends on their particular record deal TBH, just because they are selling digital or physical copies via their website it doesn't always mean they are getting the full take. The more modern deals for overseas territories include selling D/L to IP addresses from websites, so for example a British artist has an American distribution deal, and a USA based fan buys from their website then under that sort of deal the distributor would still be entitled to a pre-agreed cut of the sales under the terms of the deal.

Depends how long after downloading it I had to pay. If straight away, I'd probably pay full price because I'd be hyped. Give it a few days, I'd pay 10%, if that.
