I feel like I've read this same story before every big album release from U2 dating back to "All That You Can't Leave Behind". Literally this has happened at least 2-3 times over the last 16 years of somebody recording Bono playing the album at his beach house. Last Time it happened it was with get on your boots, right?

They did it with The Troubles from Songs of Innocence I recall. As Lennon2217 says, this 'beach leak' seems to happen every time before an album is released since 2000.

It's almost as if it's intentional!

Actually, the more I listen to the clip the more I don't mind it. Kind of groovy but pretty forgettable.

For a great band, U2 really have the most appalling fashion sense. Just look at the album cover of October - Adam Clayton doing his best Vera Duckworth impression.

Bonos blonde hair during this tour was a mess, God knows what he was thinking with it!

Wanna see middle aged men 'get down with the kids' and do a collaboration with, erm, Kygo?
Introducing 'You're The Best Thing'...
"You went full Coldplay man. Never go full Coldplay".
Okay, so it's not actually an album track and the verse isn't that bad, recalling the lower tempo disco poppy side of the 90s era but the chorus is forced and as flat as a pancake - standard U2 for the last few years.

I think this is the remix verdion. The verse kind of reminds of Even Better Than The Real Thing, strangely. But the chorus is far too forced.

Could be, I'm not all that good at figuring out the difference though - whatever way they dress the song up, I hope it's not on the album.

We're just gonna ravage it for its bland and uninspired songs when it's released. So what's the rush?
