Ellipsis - Album release date: July 8th
I've only listened to both singles once so far. Biffy Clyro have gone heavy as fuck, especially compared to their previous album, Opposites (2013).
Animal Style is by far the best of the two. Hear the Foo Fighters and a tinge of The Offspring (if I'm being honest). The chorus is catchy enough.
Wolves of Winter is very generic and in-congruent on first listen. Sounds awful imo. Sounds American - not a good thing.

On first listen, it's a better album than I thought it would be,
Metacritic's averaged reviews has it at 74%, which is better than it's previous album (Oppoosites, 68%).
I really liked Opposites, but it is rather patchy and doesn't sound cohesive at all. Ellipsis may do better on that front.
On the reverse side, I didn't feel much of any emotional connection and need to give it a few more spins.
I need to listen to the album more, but I do think a 7/10 is a good bet at this point.
