There aren't 10 songs up there I think are good enough to get on Noel Gallagher's debut solo album. Never have got what all the fuss is about with the High Flying Birds record. At its worst, it's as dismal as anything 00s Oasis did. And at it's best, it's about to the level of songs like Falling Down: pretty bloody good, but you couldn't call any of it 'classic Noel'.
But that's just my opinion.

It doesn't have many highs (just like on everything post-Masterplan), but there's nothing on there that's totally shite (unlike on everything post-Masterplan). At it's worst it's fairly mediocre. I feel Noel as a solo artist is massively underrated by the masses. If some shite like Hymn For The Weekend can be a hit, then why can't Everybody's On The Run, or What A Life!, or Ballad Of The Mighty I be one?

Poll has now been closed. Thanks for voting!
So according to the good good members of L4E, the tracklist of HFB should have been:
1. Everybody's on the Run 2. Dream On 3. If I Had a Gun 4. The Death of You and Me 5. (I Wanna Live in a Dream in My) Record Machine 6. AKA... What a Life! 7. Soldier Boys and Jesus Freaks 8. AKA... Broken Arrow 9. (Stranded On) The Wrong Beach 10. Alone on the Rope
Not bad! Interesting to note that this is the closest to the released album since BHN!
Onto BE!
