So now we've come to Noel's debut album, the almighty HFB. Most would probably agree with me that the songs were there, but they needed better production. Yet we're going through this exercise anyway!!
My alternate tracklist only requires switching Soldier Boys for Let the Lord. But what is yours? Vote and remove yourself from the silent majority!

The tracklist is great. In my opinion he should have saved some of the b-sides for Chasing Yesterday

I'd switch Stop The Clocks with Alone On The Rope. There are a couple of other songs I really like, but I wouldn't know what to switch them with.

Swap Soldier Boys for Alone on the Rope, and that'll do me:

Get a proper producer in to maximise these song's potential, and it would have been damn near a classic. Still pretty great as it is, though.

Everything the same, except A Simple Game of Genius in for Stop the Clocks. However, if we were doing an 11 track album, instead, I'd have A Simple Game of Genius in between Stranded on the Wrong Beach and Stop the Clocks.

Alone On A Rope (It would be nice one day to have an album worth of stuff as far away from the Oasis/HFB formula as this)
Difficult task as theres lots of great tunes to pick from and some of them we've only hard in very crude versions.

Records are strange creatures. I don't much care for Dream On or Soldier Boys, and I love A Simple Game of Genius, but I wouldn't want to replace the tracks on HFB. Those tracks in that sequence have a particular place in my mind, associated with all the sights/sounds/etc of that year, and there they will stay.
