Craving a pro-shot. Reading was a triumph. It certainly was. Glastonbury was my favourite, but that was like almost tentative somehow (“is this really happening at this scale”) but Reading was like a coronation... (“he’s back!”)...

Really can't get over how much I love this version. Seemed to struggle with this one early, even at bit Reading. IMO he nails it here and with that big string section. Classic.

They completely sucked the life out of this song in the studio version. What a tune it is live. Those guitars and that creepy sound in the background is remarkable along with Liam´s improved voice.
I´m all for Beady Eye tunes in the set list if they get picked right. Soul Love, Four Letter Word are good additions to a set list.

Although Soul Love does sound good there (his fucking voice!), I'm opposed to including Beady Eye or even post-2000 Oasis songs in his setlist on a matter of principle. Everything about Liam's comeback should suggest that, were you in a coma for the last 20 years, you'd totally believe Oasis and him continued their dominant brilliance all across that time. No bleak years, no loss of form, no vocal decline, no poor albums, no Beady Eye. You go to sleep in August 1998, and wake up in October 2017.
Only the glory.

I get your idea but even though it's a great dream to dream, I can appreciate Liam's recent musical work and who he is today even more when I think of what he has gone through in recent years and that he has managed to come back.

I like this approach but i think its unfair to suggest singles off HC and DBTT cycle didnt come with their successes. And id kill to hear stuff we dont hear as much over stuff that was played to death by late Oasis (supersonic, rock n roll star, cigarettes and alcohol etc wont get me excited).

Liam’s first solo gig at O2 Manchester, captions are funny. Thinking back from where he was vocally in May and hearing him now there is a big difference - at least to me.

Let's just appreciate how he went from that brilliant voice, to that dreadful voice, and to that good voice.

My expectation was that Liam would do well. Still loving the record. Very impressed with how his gigs are snowballing across the pond. Finsbury sold out on his name alone, WOW. Expectations have been smashed As You Were.
