didn't feel like starting a new thread for this, but... isn't it weird that DLBIA is in this list? Only the songs in blue were chosen by Liam. Says at the top

I think the quality of Liam vocals pivots a lot on whether hes interested or not, its kind of weird that his vocals suddenly picked up during beady eyes early days after the last oasis tour was so poor, its like the new project gave him some purpose to actually try again. I dont think Liams personal problems in 2013 and his horrible festival vocals was coincidence, he sounded fine up until it all came out, hes probably got to put a lot of effort in these days to get out a good vocal, if he cant be bothered, he hasnt got the vocal quality to wing it anymore. I think it was influenced by the level of success the band were having. That first run of gigs sold out instantly and the crowds were up for it. By the time they were doing festivals for BE they were really struggling. I think the quality of the BE bonus tracks shows that they threw everything they had into that album and didn't get the reaction they expected. Then Gem's injuries came around and what momentum they had left all disappeared. Must have been a demoralising place for Liam to be. I agree. Essentially tho this will be Liam doing what Noel does. I expect 40% to be Oasis tunes/maybe a cover and the rest his solo stuff. I don't know if he is going to dive too much into Beady Eye. My gut tells me he wants most of the BE era to go away. Maybe 4 letter word and flick of the finger but that's about it I think

Says at the top yeah, I know I just felt it was weird that out of all the Oasis songs they picked DLBIA for a playlist associated with Liam's name btw, how far deep into this thread was this buried??

Do you think a lot of his solo gigs will be broadcasted? There isn't a full broadcasted show of Beady Eye from 2013 or 2014.

Was Gem too busy rehearsing with Liam's band to play with Noel and Mike Rowe last night?
Probably not, but it's a thought.

Say what you want but The Beat Goes On is fucking great. I like it but its abit dull tbh. I think of it as beady eyes 'stop crying your heart out' just with the LAG trademark lyrics. it couldve been better with abit more work and some actual decent production, the production alone brings every song on that album down a few levels before you even get to the song quality.

Wind Up Dream is definitely the worst Oasis-related song ever released.

Wind Up Dream is definitely the worst Oasis-related song ever released. It's up there, not sure if the worst though. DGSS is full of stinkers. For me it's between 'Standing on the Edge of the Noise' and 'The Good Rebel'.

Cheesy ass song. Not even Nigel Godrich or Brian Eno could save it if they produced it.

Wind Up Dream is definitely the worst Oasis-related song ever released. I think I cringe more listening to it than I do any other. The lyrics are absolutely horrendous. I don't need to hear about anyone's sex life when they're closing in on 50.

Wind Up Dream would be the perfect music for a Viagra advert featuring randy old men.

Everyday on my way to work I see this poster of FIB Benicassim at least 4 times, and I can't believe tickets are already being sold without any official info about the album/single.

Well, not everyone is coming for Liam, so... If you put Noel with Liam they instantly become the main headliner on this flyer lol. Oasis would get top billing on all these fuckin Festivals
