My interest is piqued as to who makes up the live band. Sneaky feeling Bonehead is but not sure who else. I'm 90% sure Bonehead is going to be in the line up.

Perdonally I would prefer if Bonehead would not be in the line up. I think Liam should work with all new line up no oasis or gallagher related band. Someome who gets the sound but nothinh we all expect or know. I want a guitarist who brings in his own flavour and not plays noels solos note for note.

My only real concern is we're still trying to deprogram hardcore BDi fans as to be accepted into society, Líam releasing a solo album might stunt the process....
Just kidding!
It's Friday.....tequila!
Gracias.

Looking great! I'm sure Bonehead will at least join him on a few UK dates.

I dont necessarily hope bonehead is involved as I think it would be better for Liam to start on a clean slate and not have the questions surrounding bringing an ex oasis member etc, he already carried over oasis members for beady eye and that sort of created a cloud over them, it wasnt a clean break however if he is I wont be annoyed either, always liked the guy and his style.

The guy is still recording... With a single microphone? Definitely not, especially acoustic guitars, especially after taking a look at his position. I personally don't think it's vocals either, he wouldn't need the guitar if it was to be the case (although the Shure SM7B might disagree with me being an amazing mic for voice recordings). He's most likely just practicing, really. You can see a lyric sheet on the right of the pic. Paris photoshoot, anyone?

But he's definitely not recording anything else.

Hey guys, does any one honestly think a UK/Europe tour with Liam solo gigs, actual gigs not festivals will be announced? I've mentioned it before but I'm planning on going to Europe in June/July in my university break to go to a gig or 2 but I don't really want to go to a festival solo just to see one artist doesn't really make much sense. Would anyone have any advise if the gigs don't get announced? Though it doesn't make sense not to have gigs only festivals, it's just getting really late I would have thought the tour schedule would be finalised by now.... I don't think we will get any solo gigs in June or July in the UK as Liam seems pretty busy with festivals around that time. I personally think we will get 2 or 3 gigs in May as a sort of album preview for the release in June, similar to what they did just before BE came out with the small gigs at The Ritz in Manchester etc. It will also act as some warm up shows for Liam before he starts doing the festivals in June. I think they will be announced alongside an album announcement which should be very soon. Thanks for the reply Rolo

Hope he'll be in this form when the tour starts. Really strong 'four letter word' vocal there.

I think the quality of Liam vocals pivots a lot on whether hes interested or not, its kind of weird that his vocals suddenly picked up during beady eyes early days after the last oasis tour was so poor, its like the new project gave him some purpose to actually try again.
I dont think Liams personal problems in 2013 and his horrible festival vocals was coincidence, he sounded fine up until it all came out, hes probably got to put a lot of effort in these days to get out a good vocal, if he cant be bothered, he hasnt got the vocal quality to wing it anymore.

I think you're on to something. Years ago, at Mustang Harry's, I remember having a conversation with a few L4E members regarding the premise that Liam sings his songs differently than Noel's. Now that may or may not actually be the case, but it nonetheless questions Liam's sense of purpose as it relates to his singing, which I think makes for a valid consideration. Cheers.

He sounded fantastic in early Beady Eye gigs. Blackpool Empress ballroom and Abbey Road were 2 of his best vocals since 2001
If he sounds like this then it's an achievement

I think it was influenced by the level of success the band were having. That first run of gigs sold out instantly and the crowds were up for it. By the time they were doing festivals for BE they were really struggling. I think the quality of the BE bonus tracks shows that they threw everything they had into that album and didn't get the reaction they expected. Then Gem's injuries came around and what momentum they had left all disappeared. Must have been a demoralising place for Liam to be.
