Listening to As You Were and watching River Thames and some live performances from Liam and his band from a few years ago and I'm missing that vibe he had with the band and backup singers. They were locked in and hitting a peak, especially when Bonehead played with them. Actually prefer it over the Squire stuff and I hope this is more of a one off and he gets back with Bonehead and the lads. Just one dope's opinion.

Listening to Down By the River Thames on the way home for the first time in ages, what a brilliant set that was. Deep cuts, new cuts, good voice, good band… all the things. It was such a good day, I remember it!

2018 TRNSMT performance is epic Probably my favourite Liam solo gig, along with Down by the River. Phenomenal setlist.

Anyone bought the “digital pressing” with the 4 demos? Worth it?

I absolutely adore ‘Raise Your Hands’ it’s such a fantastic song. Would easily be in my top 10 Liam solo songs, it’s been stuck in my head since release. Well done John, wasn’t expecting something this good. I also reckon it’s going to be a beast live

I absolutely adore ‘Raise Your Hands’ it’s such a fantastic song. Would easily be in my top 10 Liam solo songs, it’s been stuck in my head since release. Well done John, wasn’t expecting something this good. I also reckon it’s going to be a beast live There's also some credit to Liam «Liam had some great ideas for the arrangements of those songs. The ideas for the keyboard parts are also his. He was the one who insisted on this. He would pitch ideas to Greg and he would execute. Liam's ideas took the songs in a completely different direction than in the beginning. Raise Your Hands for example was initially relaxed like Mother's Nature Song, but thanks to the ideas proposed by Liam the song changed its groove and became a great song. He said: "Let's try this thing, maybe it will be terrible but it doesn't matter, let's just try it!". And yet they sounded great! Liam says he only put the vocals on it, but that's not the case. He put a lot of thought into the arrangements" said Squire» (Virgin Radio Italy)

Listening to COYK now. It’s still my favourite Liam album.
That said, I’m referring to a modified track listing of the album.
More power Diamond in the dark Don’t go halfway Come on you know Too good for giving up It was not meant to be Everything’s electric Wave I’m free Better days The joker Oh sweet children
The cover of Bless You deserved a proper b-side release.

I’m admittedly surprised For What It’s Worth still hasn’t hit Gold, as it got streamed quite a lot back then. Same for Everything’s Electric reaching Silver but I think that will happen in time.

Have to be honest, Liam really has been prolific solo. In just under 6 and a half years, he’s now racked up 6 UK number one albums.
He’ll have more than Oasis had before he knows it.

If Liam tours to celebrate the 30th Anniversary of WTSMG, do you think he would close the shows with Cum on Feel the Noise or is that the Slade fan in me wishful thinking?

Of the three active projects that Liam has (Oasis DM - LG JS - Solo career) the Malta date will concern his solo project (Oasis songs + Solo songs) In your opinion?

Whatever you think of the new album, get this man singing as many songs in the next few years as possible. Id rather have lots of hit and miss songs and albums with Liam on this form than wait 3 years and be complaining about vocals again.

Am I a bad fan for choosing PULP in Amsterdam rather than DM30 in Dublin?

And those who were seemingly already writing his obituary before it had even begun almost disregard all these facts and still comment on his releases like he's failing. Guess he will always have that contingent obsessed with him and never having anything good to say.
