Trying to figure out where these places are. The Beatles have a rich history in Scotland - aside from the larger venues they played, they honed their skills and toured Aberdeenshire, Moray and Inverness prior to Hamburg. They were all small church halls in the back of beyond like Fraserburgh and Dingwall. I stumbled across the small and discreet church hall they played in the Moray town of Keith a few years back, finding a small plaque on the wall, just by chance. Makes you think what other greats have walked on humble dwellings!
