www.yahoo.com/music/ac-dc-confirm-axl-rose-lead-singer-joining-024600068-rolling-stone.htmlThe rumors have been confirmed: Just hours before Guns N’ Roses are scheduled to take the stage for their triumphant reunion gig at Coachella, AC/DC formally announced that – before GN'R’s Not in This Lifetime Tour kicks off – Axl Rose will first join them as vocalist for the remaining dates of their Rock or Bust trek. “AC/DC will resume their Rock Or Bust World Tour with Axl Rose joining on vocals,” the band announced in a statement Saturday. Rose will take the place of longtime AC/DC vocalist Brian Johnson, who was forced to abruptly quit touring with the group or risk “total hearing loss.”

I like pre 1980 ACDC. I've never liked Johnson's voice. He sounds like an amplified duck through an flat blown up speaker.

Maybe it's because I'm a Guns N' Roses fan, but I honestly think this is gonna be great. I really don't get the negativity surrounding all of this, the guy's simply helping the band finish off the tour. The way I see it surely AXL/DC is infinitely better than no show at all? Even just for the novelty factor, no? Plenty of people seem to be crying about the choice of guest vocalist but I don't really hear any other names being thrown about. Axl's a fantastic fit as far as I'm concerned. Not only have you got one of the greatest frontmen ever (albeit restricted by a broken foot and erm... age) but you've also got a guy who's wide vocal characteristics fall very much into AC/DC territory whilst ripping neither Bon nor Brian off. Axl may not be the powerhouse he used to be, but I really do think he's gonna pleasantly surprise many. https%3A//soundcloud.com/mrsoftie1/axl-roseacdc-thunderstruck-rehearsal-cleaned-up

A really great first performance from Axl last night has earnt him overwhelmingly positive reviews from the critics this morning. Fit like a glove.
People judged this waay too early and the people who sold their tickets have pissed one hell of a great show away. FOOLS!
