there was a picture on nme where that ricky was in front row of an oasis show with the definitely maybe blue t-shirt, wasn't him? was that picture taken before he was famous or even in a band? Like i said i was not sure, i remember Liam calling them ponces while doing an interview with Q Magazine and Importance said in a previous post to yours that they were happy with that. Noel Gallagher has described the contributions of the Kaiser Chiefs to a Beatles, ‘Sgt Pepper’ tribute programme as “embarrassing.” what can yer say when the band you loved growing up think your a bit shit. It would piss me off, i bet secretly there fuming i wonder if they still respect them as much now? They reckon they are a better band than oasis anyway www.contactmusic.com/new/xmlfeed.nsf/mndwebpages/kaiser%20chiefs%20were%20better%20than%20oasis_09_02_2006How can you be in a band and not think you're the best?

neva knew the Chili Peppers did? in Kiedis' auto-biog he sed sum girl wudnt shut up about oasis "this brother or that brother did something" and he sed he was neva interested in the Oasis fad.LMAO Ive been just reading the Kiedis auto-biography and he infact says that he had intentionally left the whole oasis fad unnoticed - perhaps because they were the hottest band in the world at the time. Then he mentions going to see them live cause his girlfriend wanted to in April of 1996 in Seattle and meeting Liam backstage and having some spinal tap moment with liam before the gig. He said that the songs and the singing was good stuff, but the gig it self wasn´t great because he thought it was so evident that liam and noel hated each other and they were dead on the stage. So he liked the songs and singing. And then he mentions going to backstage during the gig into some room under the stage to "make love" with his girlfriend as the band was playing above their set, saying that the atmosphere was great. Imagine, having sex under the stage while oasis are playing...
