Ha! Good joke, of course we'd all love for him to keep working, maybe he'd put out a masterpiece in the process! Even if he only put out DGSS clones for the rest of his career, I'm sure there'd be at least one or two tunes we'd all be able to enjoy. It'd be such a waste for Liam to retire now and give up chasing that dream that he once had in his hands as the frontman of the greatest band of the 90's.

No! Stripped down album or an album with collaborations. A tour with not too many dates to save his voice.
Would be a shame if a rockstar like Liam with such a distinctive voice would retire at such a young age.
Maybe he's doing a Bowie. Ten years of silence, while working on a good album with no one knowing it. Then come back & have all the attention of the press & public, and the success Beady Eye lacked.

I think he should retire from anything aside from Oasis. He's already tried going at it with Noel, and die hard fans all enjoyed it (I enjoyed both BE albums) but I don't think he'll ever be successful enough to go solo.
He needs Noel. I'd love to see what he can produce and i'd definitely listen to his work but I don't think he can risk another flop.

He should do a collaborative solo record with different producers like Sitek etc. or artists like Death in Veags.

I now listen to Oasis (and sometimes - albeit very rarely - Beady Eye) and think to myself how I miss Liam's fucking snarl, his gibberish, his antics, and his intimidating stage presence. Reform Oasis, yer tit.

Mine retired at 55 and has never ben happier! My dad is still going at 62. The point is your dad is happy, so is mine. Its a weird to think someone should retire because you don't like what they're doing or what they're not.

Its a weird to think someone should retire because you don't like what they're doing or what they're not. Companies force people into retirement all the time because they have no need for you anymore. This isn't all that different really.

If he wants to, then yes. If he doesn't want, then no. Basically, it's his choices, his life. We'll see what he will decide to do in the next months, years.

Umm let's see. Ozzy can't sing. Yet sabbath sells out. Roth has nothing left. Yet Van Halen still sell out. Axle is a joke. But guns will be the biggest act if 2016 and 17. Mick has not held a note since tatto you in 81. Yet the stones still roll. So no. I think Liam is just fine Let the fans talk let the haters hate. One day Liam will be at Knebworth or wembley fronting the biggest reunion of the decade. And nobody will care about his voice. See (axle w rose )if you think I'm wrong.

Yea. I gotta say I wanted to edit that. Your right. Mick is a aberration. Why in my opinion he is the best frontman ever. The guy still brings it every night. My bad on that analogy

He should be sitting somewhere in a chair in PG Shop advising costumers with their looks.

Don't get me wrong, I love Liam. But I think he should only make a comeback if its Oasis related. A solo project could go either way tbh. Could be good, could be shit.

I don't particularly care that much either way at this point - he's yet to give me any reason to believe that he can deliver an album's worth of good songs well sung. If he does do something, I'll look forward to it and would love it be great. If he doesn't, I won't be that sad - he's had a great career that he can be proud of, and I'll continue to think that his voice in the 90's was simply the best rock 'n' roll vocals of all time.
