what a good b-side! Another one that should have been on BHN
And you may laugh while you sit there Sipping your champagne And they all laugh at your despair Sniffing your cocaine I'm a man of choice in an old Rolls Royce And I'm howling at the moon Is my happening too deafening For you?
Genius Noel!!

hate it.
If not their worst, definitely in the top 5.
noel once remarked that the best part of be here now was that it didn't make it on it.

I think The Fame perfectly encapsulates the Oasis of the Be Here Now era. Noel is aware that everything is getting buried under drugs and excess even as he puts out this song, which laments that fact whilst also being covered in bombast and guitar noise.
I like the lyrics a lot. Sue me.

It's fucking awful.
The lyrics are truly appalling and the guitar is unspeakably naff.
The sound of Noel scraping the barrel, his muse not so much deserting him as telling him to go take a running jump.
The death knell for good Oasis B-sides.
