He was excited by the arrival of Teletubbies in the mid to late 90's. When The Tweenies arrived on the scene he'd had enough. Kids TV was finished as far as he was concerned. |

What if by new sounds he was referring to Noels upcoming "beige" album? And by relevant Noel trying to sound hip/modern? I assumed the 'new sounds' referred to that band, the society, no? I don't think so... I think the only reason why that kidda records was relevant was because everyone thought the announcement was going to be Liam Gallagher solo |
