Rabbits are supporting Noel in Glasgow tomorrow and Swansea next week. If you go to one of these gigs, don't hanging around in the bar, but have a listen to them. I've been listening to them since 2008 with their second album "The Mignight Organ Fight". They're truly great. Gonna see them again in November. Really looking forward to it.

Pedestrian Verse was great too - one of my favourite from 2013, I've still to give the new one a proper listen however (aside from a few spins).

Pedestrian Verse was/is my second favourite Rabbits album. My very favourite is still "The Midnight Organ Fight". You can clearly hear the influence by Aaron Dessner (The National) who produced the album in "Painting Of A Panic Attack". I miss kind of "roughness" by Scot Hutchinson in the new album.

The drummer of the band and frontman Scott's brother Grant Hutchison won't be touring with the band on their upcoming dates.
From their official website:
A MESSAGE FROM GRANT AUG 26, 2016 • 9:44 AM We are sorry to share that Grant will not be touring with FR on the upcoming dates. Here is his message to you. We support him in this and can’t wait to have him back with us soon. – FR
This band and the people involved with it are extremely important to me and to avoid jeopardising those relationships and the future of the band, I’ve decided it would be best for me to take a break from it all. This is not the end of my time with FR and although the decision was difficult, I feel it is the right one for me to make at this time and will ultimately be good for us all.
So as not to let anyone down, the band will be continuing without me for now. There is some rebuilding to do that will require time, but I’m confident this is just a minor wobble and we’ll be strong and steady again soon. Thank to the fans for your ongoing support, it means so much to me and to us all.
Much love G x

Rabbits last night were great as well. I'm very happy that they played one of my very favourite songs (Floating In The Forth) and they added "The Midgnight Organ Fight" which wasn't on the setlist first. Truly fantastic band. Thanks Rabbits and hope to see you very soon again.
