Love both but imo, Babyshambles. Their discography and their singles almost top The Libertines!
Fuck Forever Delivery You Talk Killamangiro Nothing Comes to Nothing Picture Me In A Hospital The 32nd of December Albion Baddies Boogie The Man Who Came To Stay etc...

^I second that. The first two Babyshambles albums are ridiculously good - no real drop in quality from the Libertines albums. Dirty Pretty Things have a couple of great songs, but the debut starts repeating itself pretty early on - it might be cleaner than Pete Doherty's rambling on the Babyshambles albums, but it's also a lot less entertaining.

even if i love both, i believe that all these tracks in both projects could make The Libertines not only one of the most important uk bands of the last years but also one of the biggest. i know that it could not happen with all these problems between them or drug/alcohlo/whatever problems, but with their projects , even if they are great, some classics tunes lost , somehow, forever. In the libertines discography/promo/quality control we could have at least 2 more classic Libertines releases. imagine an album including both, with tunes such as:
"Βang Βang Υou r Dead" (DBT) "Fuck Forever" (BS) "Doctors & Dealers"(DBT) "Killamangiro"(BS) "Wondering"(DBT) "The 32nd of December"(BS)
"Deadwood"(DBT) "La Belle Et La Bete" (ft Kate Moss)(BS) "Gin & Milk"(DBT) "In Love With A feeling'(BS) "Last of the Small Town Playboys"(DBT) "Albion"(BS)
seems like a pretty good album to me with songs from their debuts, 6 songs each...

Yeti are cool and John Hassall is actually a pretty good songwriter. Problem is that the other two guys contributing songs aren't on his level. Never Lose Your Sense of Wonder, Can't Pretend and Sister Sister are classics though.
