What about guys who think they are the reincarnation of John Lennon? I think even the most hardcore Oasis fan would admit there's something quite cvntish about both Gallagher brothers. At least they have a sense of humour though. yeah both gallaghers have had their moments but when they say they want to be like lennon or mccartney you know its said in jest kanye west on the other hand genuinely believes he is warhol,,nike and google all rolled into one when infact he's nothing but a fuckin arsehole both him and his cnutwhore media hungry slag of a wife

He's an Anus Horribilis and the worst thing about him ist, that he's actually more talented and progresive than a good chunk of contemporary artists.

At least they have a sense of humour though. Yeah but you aren't looking at it right. A lot of backlash Oasis got in the late 90s, early 00s was from people who weren't Oasis fans hating on their bravado, ego and antics. Much like when non-Kanye fans do it to West. I'm pretty sure both camps of fans don't think the others have a sense of humor.

Are we really supposed to take seriously a guy who married the absolute worst female on offer? A guy who actually mounted a stage and snatched an award out of a woman's hands? For that alone he should've been drummed right out of the business permanently. There's not one ounce of integrity about this clod. If he's the king of anything it's the compost heap.

If you have such high standards you are going to throw away a large amount of culture as there are many people that have made great art and have been knobheads at least and many much worse.

Hate everything about the man, but I am sort of pretty interested in hearing this thing now. Surely it's shit, if he's still working on it and hasn't yet decided on the tracklisting? Surely?! Either that or he's putting it all on and he's a marketing genius.
But whatever it sounds like, you can be sure it'll get a better review on Pitchfork than any Oasis album has ever received...

It's out. There's probably 6 or 7 tracks I enjoy and the rest is just self-indulgent garbage like Yeezus. Ultralight Beam Waves FML Real Friends Wolves 30 Hours No More Parties In LA

Feels a lot like a mixtape, with its undercookedness. Even though this might be his shittiest rapping album (never be that great of a rapper, plus one of his longtime co-writers ditched him) its great to have an actual "hip hop" feeling record from him. Only listened to it twice, but i can confirm its pretty good on the first couple listens. Dude is still one of the best producers out there. Famous to Feedback is a prime one-two punch.
Kinda plays like a greatest hits mixtape in a way. Its got the autotune r&b flavors of 808 (Highlights), rawness of Yeezuz (Feedback), the glory of MBDTF (Ultralight Beam), and the synth influence of Graduation (Waves, Real Friends). 30 Hours and No Parties in LA actually have some decent throwback 03-05 Ye rappin on it.

The last few Kanye records have that feeling of a giant compilation of all his friends and influences. The man himself only pops up handful of times in his songs. It's more a celebration of what makes up Yeezy.

Some of the stories of John Lennon, Harry Nilsson, Ringo Starr and Keith Moon from John's "Long Weekend" period are down right terrible. Also much of early Led Zeppelin would get them all locked up as child molesters. It's amazing all the crazy 60s/70s incidents that were ignored at the time or sadly accepted that would ruin careers today. boneheadsbolero

I still believe Kanye is using this marriage as his ultimate PR weapon. Think about it, Kim has 40 million followers on Twitter. She's tweeted out several of his new singles over the last few months. Thats a ton of eye balls seeing/hearing your material. Then you get all her sisters that have 15+ million followers each and they all tweet about Kanye too. It's a massive ad campaign on every level imaginable.

You kind of have to realize the guy knows he has a horde of haters and has enough balls to put a "song" like 'I Love Kanye' on his album. The laugh at the end sums it up for me. He knows exactly what it is and what he's doing to piss off people.

Lennon, you have a point.....but.....is it worth having to bury your face in that disgusting snizz of hers on a regular basis? I'd rather be obscure.

I like the album, but the autotune is disturbing Kanye loves the auto tune like Noel loved that fake choir organ of 2000-2002 Oasis. Let. It. Die.
