Hey Webby,
just talked to jason rhodes (noel's guitar tech). it appears as though noel and gem have been rehearsing for about a week in london.
he said they plan on doing another leg of their acoustic tour ahead of the new album.
the new album is completed (except for some overdubs and final mixing which is to be done by dave sardy at noel's studio in november) but he only speculated on a release date - probably late spring or early summer 2008.
anyway, he said they were rehearsing 2 new songs, a cover, and some old ones. he was in a rush and was about to get a parking ticket so i couldn't talk to him for very much longer.
i'm supposed to be getting together with paul over the weekend. he will probably have more information about any insuing acoustic tour / album news. i will let you know though.
anyway, thought you'd want this update while it's hot.

Very true, Webby. None of the things in the letter seem to be true. Doubtful there will be another Noel/Gem tour to promote... what exactly? The movie? Also I highly doubt the album is finished.

and noel doesn't exist... it's the biggest rumor ever  more seriously ;D i don't see why they would tour again right now, especially an acoustic tour with noel and gem... noel just had a baby after all |

Bollox, I dont believe any of this, I dont think the new albums in the can yet, I dont even think theyre 1/2 way done with it. I dont think Liams laid any tracks down, well maybe one or three. Whos Paul by the way?
