the dvd wasn't even no the shelf...i had to ask the guy at the store to get it from the back of the store... Me too. I think the sales guys were getting nervous as they watched me foaming at the mouth and angrily tearing through the Music DVDs section. Finally someone offered to help. Turns out that the copy in the back was the only copy in the store. Pathetic distribution indeed.

I paid 24 at f.y.e. I'm not sure of the difference. The one I got has the doc, doc with commentary, Q&A audio over b-role footage from the film and then Manchester on the 2nd disc with fan photos and video (video is garbage on the fan shot stuff).

Maybe Universal isn't distributing a whole lot of physical copies, but have you checked out the US iTunes store lately? If you go to the music videos section, an Oasis ad is featured at the top, dead center next to Britney Spears. My guess is that kind of promotion doesn't come cheap. And as of today at noon, the video is 11th overall, which is to me is amazing! I hadn't bought it yet, but I just did because I really want to see it break the top 10! Plus in the "rock" music videos section Lord Don't Slow Me Down is 2nd, only behind the awful and obnoxious Nickelback. If you haven't bought it off iTunes yet, now is the time and maybe we can help them break the top10 in music videos! If Universal promotes Oasis in the U.S. and are as successful as they are in promoting this single so far, I think bigger things are to come!

Their distribution is based on how many copies are bought by the record shops. Stop The Clocks barely sold 50k..Why would a store buy multiple copies of a documentary DVD if the greatest hits barely sold? It's not a question of Universal saying "EACH STORE WILL GET 20 COPIES"...It has to be bought by the shops first who have to be willing to make the investment. A nice way for Universal to promote it when selling to retailers would be to point out how well the last tour sold in the US to show that there is interest in that respect...

Paid $25 at Borders on an impulse buy (planned to buy it later this month). Totally worth the price though, good stuff. Didn't wantch the second disc yet, but the movie itself was great. The only bad parts were when they showed the LTBL music video. What a fuckin' boring music video.

There is only one version of Lord Don't Slow Me Down... there is no single disc set or shortened feature version. Every version, no matter what country, is the full two disc set, without exception.
