Is it just me or is this guy really unique, talented and innovative or am I missing something?

Is it just me or is this guy really unique, talented and innovative or am I missing something? A modern take on Gene Vincent stylings with a whole load of more recent influences thrown in- can't say if you are missing something or not, but for whatever reason I like it.

At least Liam Gallagher hasn't done the dreaded 'celebrity' advert yet, despite the hoax a few years ago that he was going to do a 'Pepsi as a mixer' advert with Charlotte Church- Hoaxes.org- Liam Gallagher & Charlotte Church Here's 1970's chart botherer Noddy Holder hawking Young's/Harry Ramsden's frozen chip shop grub, as apparently his half of an average £512,000 a year for Merry Xmas Everyone simply doesn't meet the bills And talking of Pepsi a song specifically written for a Pepsi promotion that was meant to be played on radio stations across North America, but ended up on only twenty five in Canada in 1988, for which Noddy was brought in to sing the lead vocal. The song was not made commercially available for the general public. IT wasn't written by Noddy but North American rules on specifically written for advertising songs means the writers are obscured, and so avoid the 'credit' for the lyrics:- "Crabsticks" do not actually contain any crab and from 1993 manufacturers have been legally obliged to label them "Crab flavoured sticks".

This is definitely not as good as the album version, but you can't really go wrong when your lead singer/rhytm guitarist is a fine looking woman in her 20s sporting a black Oasis sweatshirt

Pitchfork is the biggest joke ever. I was looking for some reviews of The Boy with the Arab Strap. Pretty much all of them were positive until I saw Pitchfork's one: they rated the album... 0,8/10 !!??
Utter idiots.

Are there any albums that you own more than one copy of? I'm sure I have more, but here's the ones I can remember now:
Definitely Maybe (2) Viva la Vida or Death and All His Friends (4)

Every time I hear Queen's Bohemian Rhapsody, I'm taken back to June 20 2015 at the Blind Guardian gig. Coming in and singing (badly) was a highlight of my night.

Fuck me this is good. I love tracks that lay out a kind of ethereal, dreamy soundscape.

As posted by theyknowwhatimean in another thread, Holy Holy are releasing a new single next week and I can't fucking wait! Their album When the Storms Would Come was one of my favorites from last year. Proper quality tunes! I'm totally in love with this one, which is called Outside of the Heart of It. Those Johnny Marr-ish licks from the lead guitarist are heavenly.

My OOPS treatment of U2's 'Ultraviolet (Light My Way)'. Showcases Edge's guitar work in all its glory, plus hearing a cool, haunting reverb effect on Bono on the outro. Enjoy! https%3A//soundcloud.com/greyskies96/ultraviolet-light-my-way-oopscarlober mystoryisgory @tjalke @ambresolaire World71R
