Wilco are a great band. For me, their masterpiece is Jesus, Etc. One of the most painfully beautiful songs I listened to in my life. This is a proper summer tune. That whole album Summerteeth is terrific. Every song on there is amazing. I only own two Wilco albums, that one and Sky Blue Sky. They’re a great band, I need to listen to more of them.

Genuinely one of the best melodies Chris has ever written.
Shame they never worked it into that Running-Up-That-Hill sound they wanted, and away from "Clocks".

I love their late period more experimental albums but this songs is their undisputed masterpiece.

Possibly unpopular opinion: Morrissey's false singin in the last chorus of There is a light that never goes out takes the song down from a 5(out of 5) to a 4,5 or even a 4. It's so painful. Since I heard it the first time I am now unable to unhear it, and I have no fucking idea how that take is what they put on the album.

webm@ster's gone mad I think, I never expected Porcupine Tree to have an article on his site. Reddit AMA fault possibly saying WE WANT A STEVEN WILSON NEW ALBUM NOW.

Love the cover of Ringo's latest EP. A quick 5 minute job on photoshop and 'fuck it, that'll do'. Happy birthday to the big man though.

There aren't many songs where I'd say no other track in history has quite the same vibe as them, but this is one.
Sort of sexy-funny-creepy-crunchy-soft-groovy-aggressive-smooth.

Alvvays are back and have a new album out in October! GREAT news, I've been waiting for this for years. Alvvays have a kind of sound and quality that nobody else matches IMO, extremely atmospheric with great songwriting. Single sounds like classic Alvvays which is an absolute win in my book.

Wondering why Aviv Geffen was so angry with Go To Hell. Break up perhaps. Fuck you all fuck you.

Working Men's Club new record is really good, probably one of the most underrated bands around at the moment
Also recently came across this on spotify and thought it was one of the best things I've heard all year:

RIP Paul Ryder Agreed and I was sad to read that on the BBC entertainment pages earlier. The Happy Mondays were a good band.

Who the fuck thinks lighting a flare in a concert is a great idea if your name isn't fucking Rammstein? Bruce Dickinson has every right to call that out.
