Terrible guitarist. Hope Noel gets rid and brings Gem back. And while he's at it, that fat shit on drums can get bent as well...

I'm quite indifferent to the man except for his fuckin' ace backing vocals on Do the Damage. Keep it up!

Terrible guitarist. Hope Noel gets rid and brings Gem back. And while he's at it, that fat shit on drums can get bent as well... That's a bit harsh, isn't it? He hasn't done anything to you or us apart from being in the band of a guy we all appreciate for his music. I don't want to sound silly, I just wondered what if he actually reads stuff like this, not very nice and unfair as well! Regarding Tim Smith, I don't have a problem with him except for the fact that I wish Gem would be there instead of him. It could probably be anybody, so it's not Tim's fault. Sometimes I wonder how people know that Tim (or Andy Bell as another example) are boring persons. Okay, at least we heard Andy talk, but Tim? We know as good as nothing about him except for the fact that he's from the US. Btw, do you really think musicians are boring persons? Most of the people I met or know of who are musicians and especially on the level of Tim (it's his job, so he must be somehow good at it) are more interesting than a regular person living his family life with his 9 to 5 job. So, in general I personally regard musicians as interesting persons (whatever that really means) unless they prove to be not.

Terrible guitarist? no. Fantastic? surely not. I'm not sure someone who's up there on stage touring the world gives a shit about what some keyboard warrior thinks of him.

I have tried to locate that thread and have been unsuccessful. Maybe someone smarter than me can dig it up?

He's such a cornball. At least Tim doesn't give a fuck, he's even chatted to Noel on stage through the mic. He aint scared of Count Gallagher.

But not nearly as harsh as his drumming on songs like If I Had A Gun... It was said presuming he DOESN'T read sites like this. I imagine he's be too busy to sit an scroll through all this, what with all the practicing he's going to have to get in... April's not long away now!

Can't stand it when people call other people names, especially when it's stuff like "fat shit" or "cow".
About musicians being interesting: Why would they be more interesting than the average Joe? Because they play an instrument? That doesn't mean their personality is automatically interesting too. I'm not starstruck, never been. I see them just as people. I don't give a damn about fame, money or them sniffing coke off some prostitute. Doesn't impress me.

First time I've ever been called a keyboard warrior before, now I know for sure I come on here too often. Sorry, Jeremy Stacey, you're not a 'fat shit' at all.
You're just a really bad drummer.

Maybe that's a weakness of mine that I somehow admire people who don't live the "normal life" and I'm actually jealous or whatever. Of course, they are actually not better than anybody else. Sometimes I think so, which is pretty dumb and naive. Actually I was more referring to "artists" in general than musicians for which playing music can also be just a simple handcraft.

Oh, don't get me wrong, I DO admire creative people. I think it's amazing if you have the ability to create art, whether it's music, visual arts or whatever. It's just that I don't think they're better than other people. To me everyone is the same. I always say "Everyone poops, don't they"
