On Amazon US and it says that LDSMD is being released in the US on Hip-O Records, so I looked up Hip-O Records and its a part of Universal Music Group, which oasis just signed too. So that makes sense, what doesn't is, from what I can gather, Hip-O Records which specializes in reissues and compilations, mostly blues and old rock n roll... Universal Music Groups OWNS tons of record companies, Interscope, A&M, Island, TONS! Why Hip-O Records? Anyone know anything?

I had no idea oasis had signed a record deal with universal... I hope they'll have a better promotion because Sony did nothing at all for them

They signed to Universal for worldwide distribution. LDSMD will be on the Hip-O label because that's Universal's compilation/video label. For the albums, they'll release it on Universal's main label. They're licensing the music out to Universal which is much more lucrative for the band...

Yeah, good thing "HIP-O" won't be plastered all over the next album.
