I am sorry but I think it is disgusting that CY failed to get any nominations at all!!!! By rights I shouldn't care BUT I do as the fact that Adelle missed the deadline to be eligible for this years awards by a full 2 weeks (leading to the criteria being bent to accommodate) and Amy Winehouse getting nominated for best album.

I appreciate that things change, that the masses don't care for the acts that many of us have grown up with and probably rightly so. But I mean come on.... It sums up the world we live in and the sad state of music in general. Music needs a saviour ASAP.

Personally the Brits is more about "today" than chasing yesterday. And thus is no longer for me.

The only thing that Noel could be up for is to do with the vinyl achievements. He hasn't really impacted the music industry

I'm telling you, if Noel's Solo Work was released under the Oasis moniker (and with Liam vocals, of course) it would have been a lot more successful. He needs the Oasis brand behind his work.

Unless Noel truly does love the small scale arena tours (and I doubt he truly does), then he's a stubborn moron for not reconciling with Liam and reforming the fucking band.

There's ways to make Oasis work that can lower the chances of serious altercations with band members. Sigh.

Not even if it meant an album like Dig Out Your Soul, but actually finished with a strong second half?

I think that is a far more realistic possibility with everyone back and throwing everything at it.

It is also to me, a far more exciting time to be alive than the thought of another Noel album (as much as i will still love that).
