Thanks for taking the time to do this and it's hard to argue with democracy,
I also think the top 20 is a decent reflection on the bands history

I might not agree with it completely,but that top 10 is something else I'm surprised by how many HFB/Beady Eye songs made the list well it's also a bit time related, if you know what I mean. Look up the other editions. In example, in 2005 and 2006 the DBTT songs were rated much higher overall (with Keep the Dream Alive, Mucky Fingers, Love Like A Bomb, The Meaning Of Soul i.e. IN the list, and Let There Be Love at #20). The same can be said about the releases of NGHFB and CY. We'll have to see which songs will stand ' the test of time' though. |

some statistics:
7 songs are pre 2000 (highest pos:#1 Champagne Supernova)
53 songs are post 2000 (highest pos:#13 Gas Panic!)
Liam sings lead on 62 songs (in 2011 that was 64)
Since their release Keep The Dream Alive, Step Out and Lord Don't Slow Me Down always ended up in the list, until this year..

Brilliant mrsifters80, many thanks for compiling the list. Glad there is quite a few BHN tunes in the top 20. Champagne Supernova as no. 1 did surprise me to be honest but I think WTSMG will always be perceived as the pinnacle of Oasis's career in the publics view. |
