... if Liam's next collaboration is on a rap/rnb album? Since we've seen quite a few references on his twitter alluding to his love for this kinda music. Most recently drake and also not sure if anyone noticed but "Lions don't lose sleep over the opinions of sheep LG x" is a reference (deliberate?) to Flatbush Zombies - Palm Trees (0:41) For me personally: No I wouldn't be surprised, because at this point i'd like to see Liam just get some music out there whatever it is and if that's the direction he takes then so be it. I'm not gonna pretend I wouldn't be disappointed though.

Yes. In one of Noels last interviews he said something similiar to, that it's a shame Liam quit BE too soon and he remembered him always liking rap and hip hop music before he founded Oasis. I probably made that just completely up...

Didn;t he walk up to Professor Green and tell him he hates rap music?
I'd fucking hate it if he went down this route

Liam has already established himself as an expert rapper. Haven't you ever heard Wonderwall?

I think Liam really is into this kind of music. There was him raving about Snoop Dogg, when they were in Australia (?) and even that picture on stage. I also think that Liam's tweets against Kanye West were a little bit misinterpreted, when he called him XXX at the Brits. I think he just meant that he preferred the older stuff. But why not? Just because he himself was involved in one kind of music, does not mean that he cannot like others to listen to.

Liam releasing anything at all would surprise me tbh, but yeah, anything like that even more so. He might like that stuff, doesn't mean he's good at it. He's been doing rock for his entire career.

Obviously I don't think he'd be ready to drop 'liquid swords' on us, but I'd be interested to see him take on some hip-hop influences on a solo record. I think for Liam, singing over some drum loops or a beat would be pretty 'hip-hop', but personally I think he could combine some hip-hop influences into his own stuff. Liam doing an Off at The Next Exit-type vocal over some sticky, claustrophobic dirty south beats? Wouldn't say no

At least nobody would say he ripped off the Beatles!

Nah can't see him doing anything to do with rap, it's just not his style at all. Can't see a solo album happening anytime soon either unfortunately, I'm hoping him and Noel can patch things up and make one last Oasis album while they're still young enough.
