Worst Beady Eye move...? Teasing the fans with a cover. Worst Beady Eye move...? 3 words, Bring the Light. Exactly. They teased the fans with Sons of the Stage and released Bring the Light instead.

Promise ya.

Kill for a Dream? What does that even mean. This perhaps? "Two culturally diverse children flee from criminals into outback Australia. Can you ever be too young to find your soul mate? Emily needs immediate protection. Her parents’ mysterious activities have been exposed. Feel the suspense as a gambling syndicate takes vengeance by threatening his family for her father’s crimes. In a coming-of-age novel that at times becomes a psychological thriller, orphaned Jarrah needs family and to own the Dreaming Billabong land before a new Australian migrant buys it, or he will be forcibly returned to a brutal, Aboriginal boys' training home, and the land will be lost to his people. Will the boy connect with an emotionally introverted girl? If she will be the friend he desperately needs to heal his grief, is he mature enough to share the dangers she faces? How can an eleven-year-old protect a seven-year-old from criminals?" According to Amazon, that's what it means

I'll admit it: I really like Shine a Light.
Ok, some lyrics are really lazy but it gets too much hate. A solid track from BE.

I love the intro and the instrumentation in all of the song, but those lyrics are just atrocious, although the "lionize" bit does fit the title that suggests shining a light so I mean... All in all, not a bad track.

I listened to BE walking home from my folks' earlier and I finally realised what an awful bunch of songs are on that record. They got dressed up nicely by Sitek and some of the instrumental parts between songs are really interesting, but Christ on a bike the actual songs are toilet. How Back After The Break and a couple of the other b-sides didn't make it instead of what Liam was offering up for the record I have no idea.

I didnt like hearing the news beady eye had broken up but I was excited by what Liam would go on to do next as it might be really interesting.....nearly 2 years later... 2 performances of my generation. Liam singing a new song pissed up. about 5 mins playing football.

I wish DGSS had a better and less limp production as the songs really sounded beefed up when they started touring. Wigwam & The Morning Son are ones I can't listen to on the album as the live versions of both tracks really show how loud and powerful Beady Eye could be while the studio versions are tame and tinny.

Wonder how their third album would have sound like? It would have been an interesting proposition given the differences between the first two albums, I was hoping the would continue to evolve their sound as they seemed to be doing. Unfortunately circumstances with Gem's injuries and Liam with his personal life derailed the progress they had made, and it especially seemed to affect Liam in terms of the poor sales and indifferent media coverage. It would be good if any demos for that planned third album were released or even just leaked, but I can't see that happening anytime soon. I have said before and stand by my opinion that Liam is probably done with music professionally bar an Oasis reunion, which is always a possibility purely due to the lure for all parties of one final substantial payout from that band name.

Wonder how their third album would have sound like? They would have nailed it imo. BE was such a step forward from the debut I could see them taking a majority of the record fully into space. BDI would always have put a few straight rockers on an album but I really believe they would have shocked a lot of critics and us nitpicking fans
