Summer albums: DM, BHN, DOYS Winter/late fall albums: WTSMG, SOTSOG HC and DBTT don't have seasons, because I don't want to listen to them any time of the year.  If pressed I'd say HC is a winter album. |

A Dark Album playlist: D'You Know What I Mean? Fuckin' In The Bushes My Big Mouth Columbia Where Did It All Go Wrong? Bring It On Down Let's All Make Believe Fade In-Out Bag It Up Gas Panic Morning Glory Roll It Over Neat idea for a playlist! I like most of these choices, but Bag It Up is too cheerful and upbeat IMO. I think Falling Down, Out of Time, The Turning, Soldier On all would be a better DOYS pick. I'd probably replace Columbia with Slide Away, while I'm at it. I know everyone says that one's romantic, but it's always had a desperate quality to me that would make it a good fit here.

All of those that are different to mine would be my second pick funnily enough so good choices. To be fair though with the first 4 you could make a case for almost any song from those albums. Gas Panic is easily the best thing on SOTSOG, it's between 3 songs on HC but with the last two albums it's hard to make a case for any other song unless you don't like Noel's voice or something. |
