In short, noone expected much and above all, it seems noone cared.
Theyll no doubt be nominated again, but therell only be the exact same response from the band and fans. End of.

The Dave Matthews Band beat Oasis? Rigged. Our nomination was stolen. I suppose its possible, maybe wanting to avoid bad press from DMB having twice won the fan vote yet not got in. In truth, the one thing that I really disagreed with was Peter Frampton in the main category. Hes a real talented guitarist whos played with loads of legends, and I 100% thought he deserved the Excellence award. But as a solo performer, he doesnt warrant induction IMO. |

I have a friend who JUST discovered Oasis and besides Wonderwall and DLBIA, he’s only heard Stand By Me, The Masterplan, and…wait for it…Shockwave. He’s asking me for more songs to listen to! OMG.
I think I would give up all the money in the world to discover Oasis for the first time all over again.

I was thinking earlier today that next year Don't Believe The Truth turns 20 but I'm not expecting any special release for it though.

With the Definitely Maybe anniversary coming out and them releasing live content there's always that creeping thought that they might've mislabeled something again. The guy yelling "I Am The Walrus!" at the end of Supersonic from Belfast put that fear to rest for me  |
